When a family is far from home and has a child who has a serious illness, injury or disability, the impact can be overwhelming and at times, devastating. At RMHC SA, we want to ensure that we are there for families facing a difficult time by not only giving them a place to stay, but providing them with a clean and comfortable place to call home whilst in Adelaide.
On Friday 21st October, we're asking you to 'share a meal for families in need'.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the RMHC SA fundraising team on (08) 8267 6922 or email@example.com.
En blanc refers to the colour ‘white’ in French.
It started in 1988 when a man named François Pasquier invited friends to gather at a well-known park in Paris, France.
He had very specific instructions: prepare and bring a meal to eat, invite a guest, and dress in all white to easily identify themselves.
We invite our guests to dress in a ‘touch of white’ to share a meal for our families in need.
What does a ‘touch of white’ mean for our dress code?
It can be as little or as over the top as you like.
Envision French elegance, lush white feathers and cocktail dresses for the mademoiselles or madames. If you don’t have an all-white outfit, a white scarf or bag is the perfect touch.
Men can wear a white shirt paired with chinos/slacks and a jacket, in a colour of their personal choice. If you are feeling adventurous you might even want to add a white beret or fedora.
We understand it is not always easy to dress in all white! Here are some photos to inspire your outfits..
